Any behaviors related to “hazing” as defined by state and federal authorities in concert with the University of Tampa Fraternity and Sorority Life's policies have no place at Sigma Lambda Beta.

The purpose of our education process is to learn about the fraternity, our history, and our purpose. It is an education on how to be a good member, focusing on developing time management and leadership skills and forming bonds with members. 

The senseless act of hazing hinders the development of the relationships that define the brotherhood.

Hazing is a felony in Florida which can result in:

• A civil lawsuit
• Criminal prosecution 
• Discipline by Sigma Lambda Beta
• Discipline by the University of Tampa
